There was this color called white
The color of my purest feelings
The color of totality
However, its vagueness disturbed me
I broke it up in attempt to find clarity

There was this color called red
The color of wildest desires
The color of how much I want you
However, passion alone felt so inadequate
I tried to express love with something else

There was this color called orange
The color of soothing embrace
The color of warmth I hope I'm giving you
However, warmth alone would not do
I shook my head, I needed to express this better

The color of happiness and bliss
The color that I began to see since I started knowing you
However, I love you not only during the happy times
I moved on, yellow wasn't quite how I felt

The color I dreamt of to be with you someday
